Ejects shells straight back right between the eyes with force. Gunsmith fixed it so it will accept Commander ejector and said it was fixed. It is not. I don't want it but I don't want to trade it until it's fixed.
he should have simply filed a angle at about 35-40 degrees on the original ejector(angle filed to the right) and that would make it throw to the right. If the commander ejector is shorter you will heve the same problem. If you have the old one you can drift the pin out right to left pull out the commander ejector replace it with the original and replace the pin left to right. then file your angle and that should do it.
I think you want to drive the pin out left-to-right; that way, you can drive it less than 1/4" to free the ejector. Drive the pin out right-to-left, and you must drive it almost completely out of the frame to free the ejector. The Skipper is a .40, isn't it? Does it have the proper, thicker ejector (closer to the center of the slide than a .45 ejector)?
