ammo?

For what purpose? target? Self defense?

For target, any USA brand brass cased FMJs.

For SD, There's quite a few. Hornady, Federal, Winchester etc JHPs.

Buy USA, that's how I feel. :p

Walmart!!!!

Get federal or Winchester white box from Walmart if plinking/practice is your need. Or various online dealers if you want bulk. That'll bring your 9mm down to .20-22 cents per round.
Definitely buy American!!

Federal American Eagle is great. I shoot 1000 rounds and then have brass for reloading. I also shoot Winchester White Box. Good ammo and clean.

I shoot Winchester white box for both my 9mm and my 40sw at the range. I stocked up on WWB Personal Protection JHPs for SD too.

Though I have Underwood and Hornady that I use for carry.

I have nothing but great things to say about american eagle in any caliber.
for the price, that is.
There is cheaper, for sure.
Theres more expensive, for sure.
but sitting in the goldilocks zone is American Eagle.

I find it cheaper online than anything at wally world. Many not only have better pricing, but add in free freight and no tax, and it is cheaper that the big box.

previous poster, a question - which online sites have free shipping?
What ammo do you use for self defense and from where do you get it?
thank you

Any American made brass cased ammo should be fine. Stay clear of tulammo is my suggestion. Works great in 7.62x39 but don't bother with my 9mm. In my pistol I have atleast 1 in ten rounds fail to fire. I've had two boxes of it. Accuracy is as good as any other target ammo though.
