A arcticap New member Aug 15, 2010 #2 It's the same chambering but .45LC factory ammo has different bullet styles and velocities. So while it's the right cartridge the choice of which specific ammo to buy is yours. Not all .45LC is cowboy ammo but many .45LC ammos are pretty close.
