Ammo at Walley world

I remember in the past about people getting UMC 9MM ammo at Walmart for 10.95 per box of 100. So I been checking every time I went there. They are always out so today I ask if they have any and he pulls out a white box of Winchester 115 gr FMJ for 10.75 per box of 100. Not a bad deal. So I went out and shot 200 rounds today. Giving the G19 a workout. Anyone else find any good deals on ammo lately?

The Winchester has always been there in the 100 round box, unfortunately the UMC hasn't. Wally World has the better prices on the 100 round box compared to other places that sell it, who want $17.00 a box.

My WalMart here in Hibbing, MN has a terrible ammo selection, NO 100 round 9mm, only 50 round boxes. I've filled out a customer suggestion form to no avail.

I'd love to buy ammo at WalMart here, but they don't carry any 9x18 and all the different varieties of .40S&W are 185gr (I prefer 165gr)

The Wally World near my homestead just got some in last Thursday. I asked the guy behind the counter how many he had and proceeded to buy them all...25 boxes :D :D Man, the looks you get from people when you take advantage of a good deal!

Kermit, its guys like you that make guys like me mad when I go to get some of them good deals and you hog them all up;)

The counter guy said they just got them in two days ago and only had the last two I bought left. Dont know how many cases they got in but I told him to start stocking more. He says people come in all the time asking when the next shipment is coming in. Guess others are tuned into the good deal there.

Those 9mm Wally World value packs just cant be beat in price, at least where I live. Funny though, that they'll tell me there is a max number of boxes I can buy and it's different for each salesman!

As good as the Wally World prices are on 9mm, if you live in the central Ohio area, there is a place that has a better deal. You also have to like CCI Blaser ammo. Buckeye Outdoors just south of Columbus has 9mm for 4.99 for a box of 50. I know it's only $.75 cheaper, but I don't like the Winchester ammo.

Just another alternative.

Ya gotta know

when their stuff comes in. If I go early on a Wednesday morning, they have all their white box on the floor before they even put it in the display case. If I go on a weekend when I shoot, it's all gone, and I end up buying at the range.

I was told they could only buy a certain amount at a time, supply and demand being not that important.

Hey guys,

Are these deals mainly on 9 MM or do they have good deals on 40 S&W. I prefer to buy the 40, but economics might come into effect. :(

Yeah Gryphon, I know about Buckeye Outdoors - I live 5 minutes from them. I buy a lot of 9mm from them.

They're building a new, huge store on the other side of Rt. 70 (supposed to be the largest sporting goods store in Ohio!). That'll be cool.

Cool! Gun Store Wars :D ! Fur Fin and Feather just North of Mansfield is huge! Sounds like a battle in the making for top dog.

Blazers are Ok if you don't reload. Personally, I like the white box Winchester or S&B for a litttle extra money so I can keep the brass for reloading.

My local Wal-Mart usually has either Winchester White Box or UMC for sale at $5.96/50, but it varies which one.

BTW, that translates to a case price of $119. I know a lot of folks who think they got a screaming deal when they get a case of 9mm for $119.

At Wally's, you can buy it a box or two at a time, while you're picking up diapers or groceries or whatever.

Cool.
