Since the federal government is trying to erase the borders along the north and south of the US, do you think the US, Canada, and Mexico will end up being one big happy family one day? Do you feel that these events are a precursor to a World government?

Based on nothing but gut level feeling and an eyes-wide-open observation of the last 60 years of American/World history, I'd say that a "World" government is inevitable.

"One World ... One Government" Doesn't that have a great ring to it? Bleech! Some days I'm glad that my tour of duty is almost finished. I don't want to be around for the inevitable.

Well lets see. That's what Lincoln did in 1865 to the United States as a whole. That's what the European Union is trying to do today in Europe.
That being, make us all one big whole under one central power (that decides who gets what)

I think that very well could happen, whether it is a deliberate plan on the part of Dubya or not

Source for that assertion? ...... A real source not just the popeyed ravings of the TFH crowd....

Jerome Corsi and Judicial Watch filed a FOIA requesting specific information pertaining to the SPP initiative.

Here is a list of PDF format documents in response to the request. http://stopspp.com/stopspp/?page_id=11

Scroll down to the bottom of the front page and note the list of information not provided by the government.

So does this mean if I get a yob as a federalie I get kickbacks from drug money now, then get social security benefits at retirement too?

It seems to me from what I read in the papers that the world is coming apart instead of being united. Don't know if that's good or bad, though. On the other hand, I'm from a state that managed to secede from a seceding state. Grammar doesn't sound right but that's what happened. Another almost did.

Would corona be any cheaper if this union does occur?

Shots of Herradura up here are $7.50, in the raunchiest Tijuana Bar they are $4.50
Viva Los Estados Unidos de Norte America y Mexico!

World governments are cyclic events. Every few hundred years, a new world empire rises, and it eventually has a revolutionary downfall. The Egyptian Empire, the empire of Alexander the Great, the Roman empire, the British Imperialism, etc... It's happened before, and it will happen again.

There hasn't been a world empire since the Westernization of North America. (The final death throes of the British Empire occurred only shortly after the formation of the U.S.) But, I think we'll be due for another one here in the next 2 or 3 hundred years...

Of course, I don't think many of us will live to see it...

What nonsense. The national borders of the US were EXACTLY the same after the war as before it. The Federal government had jurisdiction over that same geographic area, before and after. What "empire" did Lincoln, in his mere 4.3 years in office, create?

There hasn't been a world empire since the Westernization of North America.

Oh? The existence of the Soviet Union was an empire as great in geographic scope as any of the ancient world and its nuclear capability was a projection of force encompassing the entire planet.

(The final death throes of the British Empire occurred only shortly after the formation of the U.S.)

Really? That will come as a great shock to India, Hong Kong, much of Africa and certain Caribbean nations.
