American vs. imported

There was a thread in the Rifle section which I responded to by asking a question and got mixed responses. I bought a postban Hungarian AK a while back and the store owner tried to sell me a folding stock which he said was legal because it was made in the US.

I looked at the BATF site and didn't have any luck with that question and I'd rather not talk to them in person. If it turns out to be legal and I run into a BATman how do I prove it is American made?

Little-e,

Correct me if I'm wrong here fellas, but a folding stock is illegal on any post-ban semi-auto assault rifle.

You can only have two evil features: most pick the pistol group with protrudes beneath the action and the detachable magazine.

As for questioning the BATF, guess what? They already know you got it! We'd all be fools to think that they dont monitor these gun related websites.

Only type the information that which you wish to remain public. You wanna keep something secret, dont type it on the internet.

Just my .223 worth,

Mark
