American Legacy Mossberg

Hello all,

I just acquired an American Legacy lever action .30-30 as a Christmas present. I found their website, but I am unable to find any information in terms of value anywhere else on the web. It is a functional rifle with 24k gold and engraving on the stock and I believe etching on the breech. I would love to have any information that anyone has in regards to these rifles. Thank you very much

This is the site for American Legacy. They take factory rifles, seems like mostly Mossberg 4x4's and 464's, and make limited commemorative editions out of them. They also do 1911 pistols and shotguns. Each year they make 100 of several different "commemorations". The Witchita, KS model is in their archives, not sure when it was made. I've seen advertisements for their rifles before but never had my hands on one. They make a nice presentation grade rifle but not something that would be at home in the field. I'm sure they're relatively expensive compared to the regular Mossberg 464. They would make a great family heirloom rifle. Keep it, take care of it, pass it down. You will just appreciate it more with time

I have a rossi rio in .30-30 that is my field gun. I'm not worried about leaving this one in the safe and forgetting about it for awhile, but curiosity of the value is killing me!

late to the party- American Heritage

That collectors edition .30 .30 sounds like a nice tribute to Wichita and the state of Kansas in general. I would like to buy one if anyone has one.

American Heritage I believe.
