LawDog, did you intend to shut down my topic, or was it a mistake? Your post provided a link to what was supposed to be another discussion of the subject, but it only takes one right back to the same closed thread. http://www.thefiringline.com:8080/forums/showthread.php?threadid=30165

No surprise here. Tommy-boy Mauser stuck it to Colorado. I heard him on KOA radio tonight where he was asked (and I'm going by memory
only, but here's the gist of it) what was next? He kind of sidestepped the issue (surprise! honesty has never been the anti-gunners' forte) and said something to the effect that he'll see, and that this was a FIRST STEP to stopping 30,000 deaths a year (where'd that figure come from?).

Sounds like we'll be hearing from this clown in colorful Colorado in the years to come. Come and get 'em, Tommy-boy.

P.S. I am truly sorry about the death of his son, but no matter what he does, nothing will bring him back. He's a sadly-misguided man in
need of grief counseling.

being from colorado i am sure that you have
read amendment 22. the way i read it if three
people want to sell or trade a firearm at the
same location it is a gunshow.if a person
wants to sell 25 or more firearms at one
location it is a gunshow. looks like another
law that cannot be enforced. if three guys
are in one place and decide that they want
to sell or trade a firearm do they think that
they are going to call there local dealer
and have him or her drive over and do the
transaction for $10 bucks. i dont think so.
a classic example of laws made by someone that knows nothing about what they are making
laws about

So true, bigfoot4, so true. That's why this amendment is only a beginning. Eventually, THEY will claim that guns are still getting into the hands of kids and criminals and that any and all transactions will need to go through an FFL (Government-sanctioned agent).
The only thing more astounding than these fools' transparency is the average voter buying this crap.
