Ambi to nonambi

Hello again.

My HP has an ambi thumb safety which I would like to convert for carry. Looks like theres a pin in the cross bar holding the port side lever on... Anyone popped this out and removed that lever?

The BHP ambi safety is a three part affair. The right thumb safety has the shaft which is inserted into the frame. The left thumb safety is slipped over and, as observed, secured with a roll pin. If you elect to remove the roll pin and the left thumb safety, you may find the safety shaft a mite bit long.
