The New Jersey shooter/kidnapper/criminal was not a law-abiding citizen. The shot fired indicates what he is willing to do. The system failed the woman. The EPO/restraining order was NOT served as the shooter was not located because he was homeless. The weapon was reported as a 40 caliber revolver by CNN. The system failed to keep a criminal from getting a weapon. This seems like a tragic comedy of errors. The Amber Alert DID work though.

I didn't provide a link as CNN was covering it live. The shooter has given up both of his hostages.

Well it just provides more proof that New Jersey is the real arm pit of America, not that I like where I live much better.

The shooters mother talked him into giving up around 7 PM. I wonder if this case will focus due attention on the domestic violence epidemic?
