amazing accuracy from my Ruger .358 Winchester!

Lies. All of it. Everyone on this forum knows rugers can't hit a barn even if you are shooting from inside the barn. Must be one of the special edition hawkeye rifles produced for ruger by savage under a very hush-hush agreement.

.358 Win.

:) The .358 Win. is a very accurate cartridge by nature , just like all .308 offspring . I'm not familiar with that Buffalo Bore load you were shooting , and at $50.00 a box I couldn't afford the brass . The .358 is a handloaders cartridge , there might be 2 factory loads available for it , the other being the Win. 200 Gr. silvertip . I don't think I'd like to target shoot with a .358 launching 225s at 2700 FPS , that's a stout load . I can't even come close to that handloading and am skeptical of Buffalo Bores claimed velocity , I'd have to see it on a cronograph to believe it ! All that being said , you have one of the best all around cartridges for hunting The lower 48 states . You really need to take up handloading for it though , at $50.00 a box you'll have your money back in no time !
