Am Looking for info on French Military Weapons

I am trying to find info on French Military rifles, as well as others. But have not been very sucessful. Does anyone have a good source that I can go to. Looking a purchasing a French MAS-53?, 7.5mm. I think, as well as others, having a really difficult time trying to deceipher the codes on these foreign guns.

Riss: Good point by the moderator...recommend that you check with your local library or on line...JANE's Infantry Weapons will provide excellent data and info on every type of military weapon known to man.
