Am I the only one...

who owns a left handed bolt action chambered in 7X57mm?

If you have one, what make/model is it? Mine is by DuBiel Arms Company, of Sherman, TX.

I'm just curious.

There are a ton of lefty 7x57 Blasers on Gunbroker if anyone is looking. Not the cheapest rifles ever, but they're there.

I have a special place in my heart reserved for a 7x57. The day that I can afford one will be a beautiful day.

I found mine in 1997,

at a 1,000 table gun show at Dallas Market Hall. I had been working my way thru the tables for about 7 hours when I came across it. I had just about given up hope.

It took me another year to get in good enough financial shape to afford it. And, during that year the seller continued to try to sell it - with no takers.:p

Finally, I called his number, after a year of no contact with him, and asked him if he still had it, or had he sold it. When he told me he still had it, I was happy, happy, happy.

Once in a lifetime dream come true, as far as I am concerned.:D

I'm just saying.

I guess it's true...

I have the only one!:D

About 80% of you (gun owners) are "righties", so have no need of a "lefty" of any caliber.

I'm guessing something like 95% of you don't appreciate the capabilities of the 7X57, so aren't interested in it. :( Sad. A little insight, here - handloading, I can push a 140 grain .284 inch projectile at a chronagraphed muzzle velocity of 2,950 fps. Best group is right at 1 MOA.

I'm HAPPY, HAPPY, HAPPY with my lefty 7X57.:D

Yep, you might be the only one on this board that has one.

I've got three lefties in my immediate family, a son and two grandchildren. I'm always on the lookout for a nice, clean, southpaw rifle. I picked up two .25-06s last year and the grandkids have them for deer rifles. I passed on a lefty 7mm mag during the autumn, because the jazzbo simply wanted to much for it.

But, yeah, when I'm cruising the racks, I'm always on the lookout for the bolt knob on the wrong side.
