I can't fricking believe it! Here in AZ, Governor Napolitano votes to approve a self defense gun bill! You have to understand everyone, this woman is pretty liberal. This is not like her (actually she wanted to veto it, but didn't have the support to survive the override).
Senate Majority Leader Tim Bee wrote the initiation, and I believe he resides in Tucson. PLEASE VOTE FOR THIS GUY, HE IS SAVING OUR RIGHTS!!!! I've been reading on the net, and the bill looks pretty satisfying, making it harder for prosecuters to go after a defendent once they say they were shooting in self defense. The idea is that once you say it was self defense, it is not up to you to prove it. Another area I loved was in the car, you may now shoot if your being carjacked. Before, prosecuters would say you were protecting property, but not that once you get out of the car they can and sometimes do still shoot you. Lastly, I love the part in this bill that you still do not have the duty to retreat. This is the existing law, but they wanted to make it so you had to retreat first.
Politicians like Majority Leader Bee are Saints, and should be kept in office. They represent our rights as American citizens (and no he's not paying me, and I don't know the guy)
