No this isnt about kids...well kinda. My SP101 has one bore in the cylinder that is very tight after say shooting 100 hot rounds thru. The rest clean up with Shooters Choice and wire brush..or a green meanie. The one bore I soaked a .40 cal brass wire brush in and put it in my drill...just to clean the crap out of it.....
It shouldnt hurt my gun....smooth bore and all. Or will it?
By the way..it works well.

Ive had this happen before with revolvers and when really clean it doesnt effect anything...rounds eject fine and such. But what is the best way to remedy this...a good smith?

Shoot well

but I have had good luck polishing chambers by wrapping a bit of 0000 steel wool into an undersized bronze brush. Chucking the brush in drill press......speed at 200 rpm. Cylinder out of gun. Hand hold cylinder and move it up and down over the steel wooled brush. Keep it wet with your favorite lube/cleaner/solvent.

Warning.....don't do this unless you are certain of your ability to control things. LOW speed.

Variable speed hand drill should work well too.

Remember, at low speed the press or drill will have a LOT of torque and if the rig binds in the cylinder it can easily be torn out of your hand.

Don't let anyone from Florida FPS take your gun! By the time you get your head screwed back on straight they will have lost your gun and a case worker will have to be fired to protect some middle and upper managers.:barf:

If you'd treat a helpless SP that way, I can't imagine what you're doing to the rest of your guns.
I am willing to act as a foster parent to your collection, just ship them to me and send a monthly check and I will give them a good home. :D

OH GOD....I was afraid of that! My Bad!

Ok, I dont deserve my guns anymore....who will save these poor abused members of society from me? Who wants to foster my little ones for me?

Only the kindest, most caring and biggest of hearts will respond to this plea of mine. Think of the monumental responsibility you are taking on...before responding! Mistreated and abused examples such as are mine, need extra care and love...patience
beyond reproach.....can anyone fit the bill? :D :) ;)

YA RIGHT.............to bad.

Shoot well

Eric.. we'll foster those poor innocent wee onces untill your back in control... we'll even pay the shipping, er, airfare to protect those wee ones.. my wife will watch them every moment while I look after them... (only the finest copper pan scrubbers Mike.. you may want to try them.. ))
