Aluminum Cased Ammo

I have been looking for a good buy on a 1,000 round case of .45, 230gr. FMJ for a little over a week now. Today I found what I thought was a good deal. I got 1,000 rounds of CCI Blazer .45 230gr. FMJ for $270.00. When I get home, I realize that this stuff has Aluminum casings. I have never shot aluminum cased ammo before, but since I don’t reload, I don’t see any issues with using it. Any one have experience with aluminum cased ammo? Any concerns with shooting it in my Kimber .45’s?

I have shot a bunch of this in 9mm, .40, and .45 without incident in a variety of gun types. I understand some guns are cranky with it but fortunately none of mine are. In fact, just ordered a bunch of .380 and 9mm from Wideners...

I don't shoot the aluminum because I do reload. The stuff I used in the past has been a bit on the dirty side, but it certainly won't hurt your gun it is fine target ammo.

I shoot the CCI Blazer aluminum in 9mm and .45ACP all the time and have never had any issues with the ammunition. It's usually the least expensive American made ammo I can find and it goes bang and shoots without problems in my 3 different 9mms and 2 different 1911 .45ACPs.
