Alright Glock lovers, where do I find this?

I think a 6" barrel would make a fine backup gun for piggy hunting! Several fast shots would just be a plus. I have a Model 22 .40 now, but this one just looks more friendly to me. Who knows a good place to get one and what they are gonna cost? :)

Yeah those were just announced at the recent shot show. I don't think Glock has even started shipping them out yet. Gonna have to wait a month...or several.

There use to be combo deals for the G20 (standard and extended hunting barrel) but I'd hold out for the G40, it looks sweet.

order a 6" lonewolf or KKM barrel for your 22 and load some 200 grain hardcast to about 1000fps, piggy will fall down:cool:

If you dont hand load Underwood makes a 180 gr.nosler rated at 1100 fps that will get the job done too

A .357 SIG conversion barrel for your G22 will give you a little more distance
than a heavy .40 bullet, it has a flatter trajectory.

Just an idea.

Unless you REALLY just want a new gun, which is fine. :-)

All the Best,

yes it is a drop in barrel and the 357 Sig is a drop in barrel to, only thing I would recomend with it is to go ahead and get a couple of G31 mags, the .357Sig will feed out of the G22 mag but the G31 has a little bit different design on the follower so if you want it 100% use the G31 mag.

I like the .357 but the .40 is a far more versatile round and loaded with 180 gr nosler or XTP bullets in the 1000-1150fps range makes a heck of a medium game weapon. look at loads from Underwood, Double Tap and buffalo bore.

for self defense I prefer the 155-165 gr HST,gold dot, or FTX

If I ended up doing that, I would probably go with the .40
I do cast and reload, so I wouldn't have a problem with ammo.
