ordered a Simmons 2x6x32mm Silver Scope to match the Super Redhawk :D:);)
 
Wow... Mines been paid for since 1989. Excellent revolver. Mine is 7.5" 44 Magnum. Very accurate... no, Scary accurate. I have some friends who shoot occasionally on the weekend, at impromptu "plinking parties" They always ask if I brought "Mr Ruger"... Yes, I always do. They are always amazed when the BIG gun can knock down pop cans at 50 yards with open sights. Everyone loves a BIG revolver.
 
Ha i don't remember the last time I had to make payments on a gun. It was always cash with me. =P I lack the patience. The two day waiting period is hard enough!

Don't think it really matters much on the scope color, but I understand you're wanting a silver scope. I was looking at a silver Leupold 2x EER scope for mine and wandered onto a black one for $100 new at a gun shop. All I can say is that I should have bought more than one at the time. :D

I can sympathize about making payments within a layaway plan. I do it from time to time. It is usually for a gun that I really just want and don't need for any particular purpose. So the time element does not matter much to me in that situation.
