That must have been some question about the Senator's wife.

Tensions are amazingly high right now, no less so for those directly involved.
 
It was supposedly a question about the terms of Allen's divorce from his ex-wife, something that the courts sealed at the request of both parties over 20 years ago.

Allen's first wife says the protestor is a scummy little toad who had no business asking anything about their marriage.

The guy claims that it's his right to petition his government for redress.

Redress for what? A situation that happened when he was in diapers, and one in which he has absolutely no stakes?

He wasn't trying to petition his governent. He was being an *******.

Seeking redress via a direct confrontation, and over a matter wholly unrelated to government action? Typical first year. He knows the buzz words but doesn't have a flipping clue about what it really means.
 
That clip is just that, a clip, it's not the entire movie. The guy has been stalking Allen and he rushed at him in C-ville - that's why they grabbed him. Imagine that - a shouting man rushes a Senator and gets tackled. Duh.

The Democrats vs. the Republicans is the Evil Party vs. the Stupid Party. All politicians are parasites and the difference between the Republicans and the Demonrats is just the specifics of the agenda they want the Federal Government to shove down our throats at the point of a bayonet. They are just tapeworms in suits.
 
I'm not surprised at all. Allen is a jack-booted racist thug; an embarassment to his party and a disgrace to the state of Virginia. I can't believe the Republicans seriously considered running him for president.
The fact that he even has a political career just goes to show how screwed up the Dems and the entire political process are.
