Your Win. 190 was mfg'd from 1967-1980. Don't know the oriinal cost, however current should be @100%=$175.00 60%=$60.00. I don's have a manual, but if you would like the assem/disassem, w/photos I can send you that.

As the 190 has an alloy (pot metal) receiver I don't consider them a good gun. They probably functioned OK, but if you broke the receiver, which was quite easily done, it was difficult to repair.

I keep my brother's 190 in my safe. Occassionally used to shoot it. It seems to spit a little lead out the port when shooting. Though I'm left handed I've had right handed shooters comment on this also. It appears as though the lockup was not totally secure.

Forgrip: Re: Win 190, try Bob Harlock at AAAandA@aol.com. He probally has the original book, factory catalog & price list from the year the rifle was made, original hang-tags that were on the piece, original dealer's advertising posters & banners from the period, factory service manuals & schematics, parts - you name it! A friendly and honest guy and a fantastic place to aquire goodies and do business!
