Durbins and his likes, remarks made in recent history are being heard and enjoyed by the folks our troops have to fight. I heard a radio report today that related enemy fighters have heard reports and delight that our own government is fighting with them in words at least.
I just can't let this smoldering pile die out that easy. I'm sorry but to rehash the mishmash of how the deliberate and foolish talk that some of the political leaders in the Senate are speaking is dangerous. I wish they would think before making statements that continue to put troops in additional harms way. The freedom of speach and press is respected but should be done with a little reasonable control. If those same speaking out in concern of the enemy being treated poor, had a son or daughter in this modern military, they would have shut mouth before it opened in the first place. A great friend of mine has a little brother in the Marine Corp. He spent a year fighting Taliban in Afghanistan. He is now in Iraq. These guys often are lucky to get 2 MRE's (meals) each day......... not 3 like the Gitmo detained. Chris also told me they are lucky to see a shower once a week.... They don't give the troops 5 - 20 minute prayer breaks either. Ok, I will stop now..... Sorry, just had to vent again.......since the great U.S. media machine forgot to mention anything good about our troops again today....... I'll say it for the rest of us.......... Thanks Troops... We are lucky to have you everywhere standing strong and doing good for the world..... God Bless ya.........Stay safe.........
