Alien Gear holster for CZ P01 - Great Experience

I got my CWP a couple of months ago and have been searching for a good concealed carry holster for my CZ P-01. When I picked the gun up in the shop, I got a Sticky Holster for it which was convenient but not really secure or a good solution for carrying effectively. I was talking about holsters with a friend when he told me he had an un-used Glock 19 holster from Alien Gear and that if I sent it in, they would re-shell it for free. I did some research and it turned out to be true.

So, I sent in the holster and the money I spent to mail it in is the only money I spent to get a new one. What I got in the mail today (two days earlier than the tracking number suggested) was essentially a brand new P-01 holster in original packaging with all of the hardware and instructions included.

I recorded a little video with some of my thoughts and experiences for those of you who do YouTube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MDkCU6Ckh0M

All in all, I am very happy with Alien Gear's customer service. I dealt with them a couple of times over Facebook regarding questions I had about the Shell Swap program, and they were always incredibly helpful. Their product is a good quality product for a very affordable price - about the same as I paid for my "not really a holster" Sticky Holster.

I'm not affiliated with them in any way, just excited to get a fitting holster for my carry gun. I just got it and haven't had time to take it to a range where I can really test it, but it is very comfortable and disperses the weight well and it is easy to draw and re-holster. I might have to look into a local IDPA type competition as well to run it through and see how I feel about it in a dynamic situation like that.

Good to hear. I also have had both good service and good experiences with the product.

Great experience from me as well

I have an older AlienGear CloakTuck 2.0 for my CZ-85b. It is incredibly comfortable to wear, even with my full size pistol. And it wasn't very expensive either. I was very pleasantly surprised.

I have also used the shell exchange program about 3 times. It's pretty quick and very easy to do.

I've been wearing my cloak tuck for about a year now and have nothing but great things to say about it. I will say position makes a world of difference, bony pointy hips do not make comfortable 3 o'clock carry in anything so I got with more like 4-4:30.

That makes sense. I am a lefty but yeah I carry at about 8:30 or 9:00
