You've likely received this info but I wanted to make certain.
I am a JPFO and soon CCOPS member I live in TN but hoped that
even if JPFO is unable to respond to this rally in an official
member you could forward the info to other sources closer to
Houston that may be able to help. Also feel free to post it on
your forum. I think like some of you it's sure pretty strange
to here the phrase "myth of handgun protection" when that's
what all of our police carry.
We need as many as possibe to attend this rally and be sure we
provide the truth.

Up in Arms", directed by award-winning filmmakers Liz Garbus
and Rory Kennedy. Featuring Martin Sheen.
7:30 - 8:00 p.m. Panel discussion on The Myth of Handgun
Protection featuring: U.S. Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee,
State Representative Debra Danburg, H.P.D. Police Chief C.O.
Bradford, Victims of gun violence, Young Texans Against Gun
Violence member
8:00 - 9:00 p.m. Panel - Audience Discussion
9:00 - 10:00 p.m. Write and Rally: Young Texans Against Gun
Violence will enlist supporters to sign 20-foot banners that
implores US lawmakers to support legislation protecting kids
from gun violence.
WHY: First Monday 2000 is a program of the Alliance For Justice,
a national association of public interest advocacy organizations
located in Washington, D.C. and Physicians for Social
Responsibility. The more than 125 co-sponsors of First Monday
2000 include Million Mom March, Handgun Control, Inc., American
Bar Association, National Association of Social Workers, National
Education Association, Children's Defense Fund, American Academy
of Pediatrics.
