It was announced today that there will be a Texas senate hearing tomorrow (March 11, 1999)
at Noon on Senator Jon Lindsay's SB 717 to prevent municipalities, etc. in Texas from
filing lawsuits against gun makers. There is currently the most important piece of
legislation in the 1999 session.
What is needed are some *polite and respectful* phone calls, faxes, or e-mail thanking the
senators for any and all support for this legislation (SB 717). Most of the committee
members are already are friends.
