Where is wildalaska? Should we be getting in on this? I bet you could find all the people you need right here on TFL.

Though I think people outside Alaska have a misconstrued idea about what it is to live here. Maybe they will find someone who represents the "average" Alaskan instead of the Grizzly Adams type.

According to that article, they are looking in Anchorage for "true" Alaskan outdoor types.
They would be better off looking in Nome, Bethel, Barrow or Fort Yukon. Life
in those places is more on the edge. Anchorage is just a colder smaller Denver.

Absolutely, it must be true we read it on the internet and we ALL know everything out here is true.

You can run over a moose in downtown Anchorage. You can catch a king salmon within the city limits. You don't have to go very far into the suburbs to have bears digging through your trash.
