Al Gore loses votes in Chicago

This is a true story that happened yesterday and I figured you all would get a kick out of Al's stupidity.

My Father was coming home from work yesterday about to get on to one of the main expressways. As he was about to get on the expressway, a cop stopped all the cars and blocked the entrance. My Dad didn't know what was going on. He said within five minutes the expressway was EMPTY (which NEVER happens here in Chicago) Remember this is also rush hour. Suddenly a bunch of limos drove by, it was Al Gore. My dad could see them all talking on their cell phones, taking their sweet old time. By now the cars are backed up for blocks, people are honking their horns YELLING out the windows telling Gore to go home. People were very upset because they were all just getting off of work now they are caught in a complete traffic jam. After the little parade was over and they let the cars back on, my dad said it was total road rage, people swerving, honking, etc. He told me Gore just lost his vote. He talked to his friend later whom takes the same expressway home, the guy saw it too and said alot of people are very angry, which in turn just cost Gore alot of votes! :D

Why do these politicans chose to come during rush hour? It just proves they don't care about your regular citizens who just got off from a long hard days work. It is hard enough driving on those expressways after work let alone stopping everything for 20 minutes.

Good going Gore! Thats a lotta less votes for you :D

NRA? Good. Now join the GOA!

The NRA is our shield, the GOA will be our sword.

Billy Joe Bob did the same thing here in Austin a while back. Even though the majority of Austinites throw rose petals at his majesties feet and closely follow kissing his a$$, they were incredibly upset that he tied up the roads with his motorcade. Heard from a friend that his highness wanted to go to some island off of RI recently, but was turned down by the town cause they did not want to give up the hotel space for his security detail and handlers and inconvenience the tourists who make up 90% of the economy. Seems like I need to plan a vacation at this place soon.

Gore seems to be taking his cues from His Billness more and more. Remember when air traffic was held up for 45 minutes while Clinton had a haircut on the tarmac on Air Force One? The same old "some people are more equal than others" treatment.

Gore did a similar deal in Atlanta a few weeks ago.

He started out the day at the Hyatt Regency, downtown, which you can see from our building (we're on the 11th floor). His motorcade was lined up waiting on a side street between us and the Hyatt.

As we're checking out the motorcade, the police escort vehicles lined up across the street, and the aides and Secret Service agents milling about, two guys emerged from a roof hatch onto the low roof of the Hyatt. They're wearing khaki BDU's, have thigh-mounted tactical (means black ;)) holsters, and one is carrying a rifle case which I suspect housed a sub-MOA bolt action. These guys proceed to carefully check out the surroundings with binocs.

One of my co-workers waved at the guys as they swept our part of the building. Didn't even pause, so I guess he didn't fit any profiles.

He did the same thing in Cincinnati a few weeks ago. Afternoon rush hour shutting down a couple of major interstates. Of course he had to bail off at one of the exits to shake a couple of peons hands and feel their pain to make this an official visit rather than just a campain contribution stop. That way we all get to pay for it. :(
