AK stock help

I bought a new buttstock for my wasr10 AK today and started to remove the
old wood stock but it wont come loose!I removed BOTH the screws that
attached it to the receiver and it just won't budge...I think my receiver is
milled since it dosn't have those indention's above the magwell.Could the
receiver type be the problem?Or is the old wood stock just swelled around
it?

Please help me find and fix the problem.Im getting really tired of that short stock...

They are difficult to get out. The last three I did required me to remove the fire control group and use a piece of bar stock and a mallet to hammer them out from the inside.

Your receiver is definitely not milled. WASR's just don't have the mag dimples, which usually means lots of mag wobble. The stock is just tight, common on WASR's. Don has the right idea, bang it around a little, show it who's boss. It will come out.
