AK Rear Sight Block Removal - Jig?

Hello everyone. This is my first post here, yay! I am trying to get the rear sight block off of a complete saiga barrel. I drilled out the dimples and am ready to press it off. Any suggestions? I have a 12 ton shop press that I used to get the barrel pin out, but does anyone have an idea for a home made jig? This sight block is very content with where it is and does not want to come off.

One man made a jig for his rifle from a piece of thick steel scrap plate.

He drilled a hole in it big enough to pass the barrel, then cut about 1/3rd of it away, leaving a partial sort of "C" shaped collar with a hole that he could slide over the barrel.

The hole was just big enough to clear the barrel, but was a snug fit against the block.
