Ak optics ounting solitions

Im looking at diffrent ways of mounting optics as low as, possible on the receaver as possible. Im thinking either the mi side rail mount or this tsxas weaoons systems xog lsg deal. Any recomendations on either or other suggestion. I want my 1.5 _4 power varible as low as possible on the reciecer of a century 5.45 39mm
 
I have the MI side rail on my converted Saiga. It sits low...so low that it must be removed every time for cleaning. Thus far it has returned to zero each time but I just have a 3moa RDS and not a scope mounted on my rifle so YMMV.

I the the tws dog leg mount? I kinda liked that mount, it lookes.like it woukd work for a rsd.dot / maginfier even, with a longer stock of course. Im not sure if the mi side rail would. I would love to be able to qd switch from low power variable to red.dot plus magnifier at times and retain zero to a degree if not.totally. Just a pkinker basicly lol
