AK Muzzle Brake on a Bushmaster

I was at my local gun shop and I saw a Bushmaster with an AK type Muzzle Brake. It looked really cool! What are the pros and cons of installing this on an AR. Stay Safe, Sam
 
Some people think they really help and like it a lot. Some say that it increases the sound of the blast. I've not had a chance to shoot two rifles side by side to compare. I have read on ar15.com(Sniff sniff) about I guy who did shoot they side by side and said the break really helped. So, if the idea appeals to you, go for it. I have the 14.5 inch w/ muzzle break and plan on getting a 20inch down the road (After all this Y2K nonsense dies down). That's the nice part of the ar system, you can change uppers.
 
I had ordered a AK brake from Bushmaster just recently,and received it Thursday. I will give a range report when I test it out on Sunday.
It will go on a BM 20"E2
 
Well I guess I like it?
give or take the noise or the looks I got from people on both sides of me :)
As long as im not the one on the side!
It does reduce muzzle flip.
