AK mag advice

I received a saiga sgl21 7.62 cal for Christmas.
Any suggestions for a company that makes 20 round mags for this gun?

Any help is appreciated.

You can’t legally install a high capacity magazine without first making the rifle 922r compliant. Visit saiga-12.com for the info you will need.
 
If it is an Arsenal SGL21, then it's already compliant. I recommend Bulgarian Circle 10 Polymer mags. Check out K-Var.
 
Hungarian 20 rd Tanker mags. Surplus. They are very good.


The only AK mags I'll ever buy are combloc surplus or Bulgarian "circle 10" polymer.
 
Agree. It was all I used on my Saiga conversion, never had an issue and they were very sturdy. Anything more than 20 rounds is just too long and gets in the way.
 
I dumped all my 30-round magazines which were the ribbed combloc ones and replaced them with the 20-round Hungarian ones.

Much better handling overall, a little lighter and it just looks better. They have functioned fine so far.

I won't go back to the 30-rounders any time soon.
