AK Accuracy

After doing a little work to my .223 MAK-90(3-9x40 scope, trigger job, and a choate dragonov stock), I took it to the range the other day to see what it could do. Set the targets at 100 meters on a clear day with almost no wind, and was pleasantly surprised. Fired 5-shot groups with PMC 55 grain, most came in at about 2.5" to 3", but I did manage 1 1.5" group. And they say AK's aren't accurate. :-)
Also, does anyone happen to know the twist rate of the rifling for the MAK's in .223?
