I just saw Rep. McCarthey on the news, waving the bloody shirt, 'We're taking more cops off the streets and letting these deadly assault weapons back on. It's a prescription for mass bloodshed. I refuse to even address any Constitutional questions because what we're advocating is not against the Constitution'.

I realize that her husband was killed in the Long Island Railroad Massacre by Colin Furgeson...but that crime was committed by a lunatic using a 9MM pistol. The folks were shot like sheep...sheep like Ms. McCarthey would prefer that we all be. Jim Brady...shot with a revolver. The Kennedy Bros...a bolt milsurp and a revolver. I can't think of a shooting where an assault weapon was used.
