AK-47 Mount & M30 Leatherwood / Hi-Lux Red Dot Sight

A good red dot on an AK brings it right up to speed with the AR's. I dont agree with how he has it mounted, but I suppose its better than nothing.

If you mount the dot low and forward, on an Ultimak rail, with the right sight/ring combo, you can still cowitness your irons, and the rifle shoulders and shoots like it does with the iron sights alone. With the sight up forward and out of your face, you get a much better field of view.

I have AK's and AR's, both with Aimpoints on them, and they both shoot pretty much the same.
