Hi guys, I was looking around youtube for any details about AK trigger jobs and found several with guys using 80 grit sand paper on the sear surfaces!
I ordered the ALG AK trigger set and started with them. The ALG set by itself is pretty nice, but it still has about 1/4" of travel before it fires. Doing the 2 stage trigger mod lets you feel a positive stop before the trigger breaks. I ended up with a 2.75# trigger. The ALG kit comes with an extra spring to give you a little more resistance and brings it up to 4# but still has a very crisp break.
