airsoft?

Just got an appartment for next year, and am looking for a way to keep on shooting. I am going to be getting into commonwealth fullbore this summer, but want to keep on shooting at school. Anyone have a suggestion as to an airsoft rifle that is adequate for practise? Must have functional peep sights and must be very quiet. I considered building a suppressor for my air rifle, but I'm not sure of the legality in Canada or what my landlord or neigbors would think of it.

ps...not sure if this is in the correct location? my apologies if not.

I've never been really big into airsoft but I played with a few friends once. They handed me a gun made by UHC that looked a lot like a Remington 700 Police. I was told it fired at 500+ fps and the guy had loaded it with 25g bbs that he had coated in pencil lead (says it made it more accurate, I think the guy is a little obsessed but to each his own). Anyway, long story short my 1st match was a 2v2 and I knocked out the whole other team by myself with about 5 to 8 shots fired.

Go look on www.airsplat.com, I think they have the same gun for about $150, it comes with a scope but I didn't use it because a scope even at maximum airsoft ranges is just silly. It is under the category of spring guns ans sniper rifles.

EDIT: Just visited the above website and I'm trying not to laugh, the bb gun I just recommended to you has a recoil pad...

on the plus side it does have some faux casings that you can load the bbs into so it has a more realistic feel and operation to it.
