Police: Sexual Predator Killed In Argument Over Woman

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- A 24-year-old man with a long criminal history was shot and killed Thursday night in behind Shands-Jacksonville Medical Center.
Witnesses said two men were arguing about a woman just before Willie Wiggins was shot about 11 p.m. He was transported to Shands, where he was pronounced dead.
"We heard gunshots. It was awful," resident Fatima Shield said.
Wiggins' record shows he has been arrested numerous times over the last five years, and was on the Florida Department of Law Enforcement's list of sexual predators. He was once expelled from the United States, has violated probation, and was reported dead once before.
Police are looking for the other man seen in the argument, but said they have no suspect. Anyone with any information is asked to call the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office at (904) 630-0500.
