Aimpoint T1 that doesn't work

Hi there guys,
i just bought a B&T TP9 that has a T1 dot on it. The dot seems like that doesn't work, the dot turns on only on position 12. What could it be ? I tried to change battery. I don't know what to do, should i send it back to Aimpoint ?

May seem like a stupid question but are you 100% sure it is an Aimpoint and not a fake or air soft replica etc.

If so give Aimpoint a ring I am sure they will take care of you.
 
yes i'm sure it is, it's the first thing that i've checked. I wrote an email to Aimpoint, i'm waiting for an answer
