Did anyone purchase one of the Aim Surplus Model 84 BB Beretta pistols and if so what does the import mark look like and where was it placed. I have one being shipped but became curious as the photos do not indicate this information.

Win, you cannot stop with one Mak, you will need a couple more Bulgarian before you start on the other countries and just maybe another offering of pristine 84 Berettas will hit the street or a Hi Power or two..CZ 82's were great while available, then the PA 63's and on and on and blah-blah-blah.

Yeah Mikey one more Bulgarian is about to get bought! I'll keep him in the cosmoline and make the one I got cleaned up as my shooter. :)

I didn't get it from AIM, but I do have a surplus Beretta 84 and it has been a good shooter for me. I slightly prefer my CZ83, but the Beretta is accurate and reliable. Mine seems to have been carried a lot, but not shot much. Magazines were easy to find, and IIRC, not expensive.

Here is what it looks like. I have had it for a couple of years.

Tallball, I decided to get one, had a Browning BDA that I liked but a detective at the PD liked it better. Received mine from Aim and it is 99% + condition, the import mark "Mach 1" is tiny and unobtrusive on the bottom of the slide rail and can vagely be seen if you are shooting upside down. I do not know why CAI must ruin a pistol with their billboards as obviously it is not needed.
The Beretta is too large for it's caliber for me to want to carry it ( my Sig P 238 or 938 take care of that) but they are a hoot to fire with virtually no recoil and good accuracy.

I?
IB?
IBM?
IBMikey,

Not sure what to call you... :D

Can you post a picture. These have started to gnaw at me. I'd like to see yours if possible.

Just what I need - another "grail gun" to chase!

Well you have the king of persons who can barely turn the computer on much less post a photo. I can send them email if you pm an address.......nice Beretta but the best and last that Aim had (i believe it was about 50 pistols) so sold out since the day they posted. I am really pleased with the condition which i cannot believe was fired due to any marks from ammo cycling etc being evident. I shot it in my basement test barrel but have not made it to the gravel pit as yet.

Out of curiosity,,,

Who surplussed these?

What I mean is who was the original user,,,
I would guess a European PD.

It's no biggie,,,
Just curious is all.

BTW - I have an 85BB that I absolutely love,,,
It's the pistol that lives in my messenger bag holster.
