Aim Sports Inc Rail for Mini 14

I saw this in a Sportsman's Guide magazine yesterday. Anyone try one of these yet? How does it fit?

Lets try this one again...anyone seen one of these things? I might be a new product...just curious?

Well, ignoring the absurdity of that picture, I noticed it extends out farther and lower than the normal stock. It appears to me it is meant to cover an accustrut and make the gun look more like an M-14. How does it attach?

Thanks for that picture... I was looking at the one on the mfg's website and couldn't figure out how it was mounted. I thought the rail extension would be forward over the barrel!

I still do not understand how it is attached. Certainly not those set screws to the plastic handguard, I hope...

It is difficult to tell. In another photo it looked like it replaced the heatshield, but in that one it looks as if it is there.

It may clamp onto the barrel. Looks to me like two allen screws on the handguard tighten the barrel channel to clamp it.
