Don't have a Rem 700 action on a AI Chassis but have a AI Action & Chassis.
Given the performance of my AP and considering the Rem 700's history for accuracy I would give it a try.
Also, keep in mind that when AI pulled their line from Gunsite, Gunsite came out shortly there after with an after maket Chassis that is alot like the AI Chassis. So much so that, I believe, AI has filed suit. If it didn't work I don't think Gunsite would have copied it for market.
There are also other manufactures out there that are now using the same type chassis on their "presision" rifles.
I'd say go for it!
