Ahhh Help with a new gun purchase decision

Thinking about a Colt 5" Wiley Clapp vs a CZ75 Tactical Sports 40.

The Colt would give me a blued Colt 1911 that I hav been wanting for a while. The small thumb safety, bluing, sights and checkering are amazing for a Colt at any price. I'm a huge fan of the 1911, so there is a natural draw here. It will not be a working gun, but a light use range toy!

Then there is the CZ! I fell in love with the trigger. It looks like an amazing out of the box comp gun, but I really don't shoot competition! So, really, it would be just a way to get my 40 dies rolling and range fun.

I tried the CZ 75 B SA 9mm, but it really is not close enough. The SA trigger, not good enough.

Thoughts? How to choose? I'm guessing the WC won't be around forever...

Which ever one feels better and more natural in your hand. I rrrrrrrreally want a cz75 in .40 but am not willing to get rid of either of my 2 pistols for one

They're different enough that you'll just have to get both-and the first one should be the WC for very the reason you stated: "The WC won't be around forever..."

Looks like win-win to me! :D

...ditto!!!!!

Pick the worst one of the two. This way, you will surely get the 2nd gun since you will not be quite satisfied with the first purchase:)

If you already have a 1911, then get the CZ.
If you plan to get only one of the pistols, get the 1911.
If you plan to get both eventually, get the CZ first (to me, there are many good 1911 does not have to be a colt special edition).

Whichever you get, let us know how it shoots.
