Today, I found that the rear sight on my S&W617 is loose. Some folks suggested ditching it entirely and adding a Bomar sight. Any suggestions/opinions on that topic? Can I fix the existing rear sight or just let it rattle (front to back)? How much trouble would be to replace the black front ramp sight with one that has an orange inset?
