Aftermarket preban Beretta 92FS mags?

Dang it, I meant to ask these questions about Beretta mags all in the same post but I kept forgetting. My memory has gone to hell and I'm not even 40 yet! Anyway, do preban Beretta 92FS mags made by third parties work well? What are some brands that work for you, USA, Eagle, MacGar, etc.? Should I save some money from buying factory hicaps and buy aftermarket instead? Not for defense work, just for the range and maybe competition. Thank you.

I'm no expert, having my 92 FS only a month, but what I've learned so far (mostly here) is that:
1) Factory mags are the best way to go.
2) Triple K, USA and Eagle brands are junk.
3) Recommended - Wilson, Chip McCormich, Mec Gar, Pro Mags, Pachmayr, Wolff and Metal Form.
I've been keeping an eye on www.gunbroker.com. It's an auction site like eBay that specializes firearms and accessories and other sporting goods.

The police department in my town was actually using Ram-line 18 round magazines. I bought one and I haven't had any jams but I shoot mostly factory 15's.

For aftermarket mags, I've only been satisfied using the MecGars. The Ramlines I bought never lasted a full mag worth w/o failing some how...:(
