Aftermarket parts questions for my SA

Ok guys I just bought a SS SA loaded with factory adjustables and ambi safety.First I wana ditch the recoil rod and replace it with a GI plug but who makes a stainless plug and spring guide?I would also like to know if a Wilson high ride ambi would drop in sense my gun came with an ambi to begin with?Thanks
 
Well i answered my own question on the stainless plug,Colt has them DUH!But I still need a smiths oppion on the ambi
 
Unless you're very experienced, you shouldn't try to install your own 1911 safety. They don't really drop in without modification, regardless of what the package says. It's one part that's best left to the experts.
