It really depends on what type of gun you want it for. Avoid USA mags like the plague!! I have had a few and they all tend to jam. For a 1911, go for Chip McCormick's or Wilson Combat, I've had luck with both companies. For things like ruger 10-22, I have used ramline and hotlips with equally good results. Im sure there are many good brands out there for other guns, but I dont buy too many aftermarket clips... youll just have to look around. If they aren't too expensive or cost prohibitive, I would always stick with factory mags, unless your sure of the company, and dont trust your life on an aftermarket mag untill you are SURE it is reliable!
