Aftermarket chrome lining of barrels - question

Jeez; I don't know about chrome lining; it is not the most desireable thing to have on a rifle, you often sacrifice some accuracy for additional corrosion resistance.

As far as Stellite, I doubt that a Cobalt-Chromium alloy could be successfully applied to a gun barrel, but ask Stellite del Oro directly:

The M-60's Uncle Sam had used to have stellite-lined barrels and I think the M-14's did as well; or so they told us. I think that the M-16 did not.
