Moderators, maybe you can leave this thread up until the Politcal forum is fixed?
Last night at 3am MrBigglesworth reported the following on the on-line polls:
CNN.Com (Clinton News Network)
Bush 56%
Gore 44%
22,082 people in this poll
ABCNews.com:
Bush: 62.2%
Gore: 37.7%
20,878 in this poll
Vote.com
Bush 88%
Gore 12%
25,226 people in this poll (must be demographically similar to TFL!)
As of now, I cannot find the CNN poll anywhere on their site!!??! Only a news story stating that among a phone poll of 435 voters, 48% of those said Gore won, and 41% said that Bush won. Can anyone else find that CNN poll and post a link? Or did CNN pull it becuase they didn't like the results, and replace it with the news story about 435 voters in the phone poll?
FYI the ABCNews.com poll is still up, and latest results are:
Bush 59.3%
Gore 41%
68,000 in this poll.
But ABCNews.com also has a similar news story about a phone poll of 491 voters, saying 42% of them said Gore won and 39% said Bush won.
Why isn't anyone reporting that all the on-line polls are giving Bush a significant margin? Are they that blatant in their bias? If Gore was ahead in the on-line polls would they be reporting it every 15 minutes?
