Affixing a flagpole to barn/house

I live in rural America, and I want to put up a flag pole. I have a large corrugated steel barn. Does anyone know of a good way to attach a pole to it (maybe one the attaches to the peak and goes up from there? It'll be for two flags.

Alternately, I'll attach it to the house (run it alongside the house, extending 10' or so above the peak). I don't want to plant the pole in the yard becuase my wife and I will probably move in 7 years or so and I don't want a pole and concrete in the yard to hamper sales. Suggestions?

Run it through the corregated siding and into one of the main structural members. Use bolts with rubber weather washers.

This should give you both lots of strenth as well as weather tightness.

Beware the man with the S&W .357 Mag.
Chances are he knows how to use it.
