Advice on outfitter choice

http://www.wyoga.org/index.php

Here is the link to the Wyoming Outfitters and Guides Assoc. I see that Mule Creek has license # BG056, wich is a fairly old license. If you have any questions, ask the WYOGA for some help. They are a professional group of outfitters that help set some of the Outfitting rules and also help police themselves of "bad outfitters".

Here is a list of the regional Wyoming Game Wardens. Call the warden who works in the area you are going to hunt and ask them about the outfitter you are thinking about hiring. They will tell you if the guy is trustwothy and has a good area.

Also, ask the Outfitter for a list of previous clients and call a few of them. There is no better referance than a past client.

Good hunting.

I might also suggest that depending on what you want, trophy or just a nice antelope buck, there is plenty of BLM land and a do it yourself hunt is pretty easy. Just make sure you understand exactly where the BLM land is and that you can legally get to it and stay on it. I'd suggest a GPS and a map set with BLM land loaded on it.
